I have attended several Lamb’s Retreat for Songwriters in Harbor Springs. John Lamb has created an institution over the past 25 years or so. Aside from learning songcraft and the song critiques, I have made numerous interesting and talented friends from Lamb’s. In November 2021, I was enlisted to present on blues basics. I had never given serious thought to being a piano instructor, but I enjoyed this session and it was well received. As a result, I have begun posting “Blues Basics” piano sessions.
